Associate

REBM is seeking an Associate with a strong accounting foundation, a passion for music, and an exceptional work ethic to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time role offering significant growth potential. We invest in our people through mentorship, training, and clear paths for advancement, encouraging long-term careers with us.

Location: Los Angeles, Denver, Nashville, or remote.


Role Overview

The Associate serves as the first line of support for our Account Executives, Account Managers, and Business Managers, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review, approve, and process Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Maintain banking and income checklists
  • Update weekly balances and monitor key accounts
  • Perform credit card and road cash reconciliations and journal entries
  • Manage tour merchandise and royalty trackers
  • Update tour tracking systems
  • Assist with basic tax preparation and music-industry-specific accounting tasks
  • Track bill-backs to labels 
  • Generate commission statements
  • Process W-2 and 1099 forms
  • Support special ad-hoc projects


Qualifications

  • Background with accounting education or experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Familiarity with the music, entertainment, or finance industry is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
This is a non-exempt position. Pay is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, role scope, internal equity, and market considerations.


Expected range: $22–$36/hour.
